After studying Dentistry in Australia, Ireland or NewZealand, can I practice in Canada as a Dentist.
The Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada (CDAC) is responsible for accrediting dental, dental hygiene and dental assisting education programs in Canada. For the purpose of certification and licensure in Canada, the following programs are considered accredited in Canada: a) Programs that are accredited by the American Dental Association's Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) are considered accredited. In addition, the following general dentistry programs are also considered accredited: b) Effective March 30, 2010, general dentistry programs accredited by CDAC or the Australian Dental Council (ADC). c) Effective December 15, 2011, general dentistry programs accredited by CDAC or the Dental Council of New Zealand (DCNZ). d) Effective December 5, 2012, general dentistry programs accredited by CDAC or the Irish Dental Council.How does CASA assist you before you apply?

With CASA’s easy to fill out application form, all you need to do is send us some of your personal details along with your prefered program preference and you will be on your way! CASA Scholar’s will email you with the respective application package and will be there to guide you throughout the application process! CASA will also be holding information sessions throughout Canada at your local universities to ensure you have the best experience possible! Once you receive the application package from CASA, from there, prospective students can fill out any of the forms that are required for their program choice. These forms can then be emailed or mailed out to any of our Canadian locations! From there on, any required documents can also be mailed out to our locations and CASA Scholars will send these directly to the schools!
Why should you apply to an overseas institution?
Applying to these overseas institutions give students the ability to apply straight out of highschool! For many of these institutions, there are no entrance exams such as the MCAT, DAT, and the LSAT required to enrol in the course!
There are multiple programs for various courses that you can enrol in. Medical students can choose from the 4-6 year programs based of their past qualifications, and prospective law students have the option of studying in the 2 or 3 year program. After hearing back from the admissions office regarding your application, we will email you right away with the news! Whether it is good news or bad news, we will be there with you to go over your application if you did not receive the result you intended to see, or we will email you with the next steps and how to accept your offer if your application is successful! If your application is successful, we will be there to help you whether it is applying for visa or looking at student accommodation, we will have all the information to ensure your experience goes as smoothly as possible!
